Upcoming Workshops

Just wanted to update everyone on the upcoming workshops we will be hosting for kids.

At the beginning of July we hosted a workshop making dry erase boards out of tiles and it was such a hit we had to add some more to our schedule. This time around we are offering a workshop making bead-wrapped headbands and another making 2 different kinds of bookmarks. The projects are going to turn out so cute! Check out all the info here.

I'm attaching some pictures of our previous workshop so you can see how much fun we had. Unfortunately, the camera battery died during the workshop so I never got a picture of the finished projects. They turned out so cute though! One girl's mom wouldn't even let her hang the dry erase board in her room because she wanted to hang it in the kitchen!

Meet me at the Muny!

What better summer tradition is there in St. Louis than sweating it out at the Muny during a heat wave?

If you'll be venturing out to Forest Park tomorrow night (Saturday) to see Annie check out the Bizzy Beads booth and make a bracelet with us. We have some fun beads and a sunshine (you know, "The sun'll come out tomorrow...tomorrow") or dog (Annie's dog Sandy) charms. The best part? It's free pre-show entertainment. We're going to be in the plaza up by the free seats.

Here's a picture of Lynn and I helping make bracelets on Tuesday night. What a fun event!

Summer Camp

It's been quite awhile since my last post. Guess that means it's busy as ever around here. (I know I say that every time...)

Just wanted to let everyone know once again about the summer camps that are happening here. We're soon to have lots of little girls pouring into the store to hang out and make some awesome beaded projects!

6 Months of Beading with You!

It is hard to believe that it has already been 6 months since I bought Bizzy Beads! Sometimes it seems like it's been longer and sometimes it seems like the time has flown by!

I've learned so much since I purchase the shop...about life, about people, about jewelry, about beading, and oddly enough about rosaries. Having not grown up Catholic I really had no idea what a rosary even was. Boy, has that changed!

We've been so busy at the shop helping people make a special gift of a personalized rosary for many of the upcoming First Communions! We're happy to help you if you want to bring in a party to make rosaries, or if you just want to drop by sometime to make one as a gift or for yourself. They always turn out unique and beatiful!

Thanks for letting me bead with you for the last 6 months and also for letting me tell you about this great gifting opportunity!

Spring Sports!

The weather is getting warmer and baseball season starts in 12 days! Could life get any better than this?
