Spring is finally here! This means that rosary season is upon us here at Bizzy Beads.
We've been super busy making rosaries for First Communion and Easter. But we know there are still many more rosaries to be made so we're inviting you to come make a rosary with us!
Join us Wednesday, April 7 from 6:30pm - 8:30pm. The cost is $10 per person per rosary (in addition to beads and supplies). Wondering what you have to do to attend? Just call us at 636-728-1515 to pay in advance and reserve your spot.
Be sure to check our Facebook page to see a gallery of rosary photos.
Looking forward to seeing you on April 7!

WOOOHOO! The sun's shining...the temps are starting to get warmer...summer and all of the wonderful camps are almost here!
Ok, ok. So I know it's not even technically spring yet. And I'm pretty sure that I heard the meterologist say *snow* during the forecast this morning. BUT, I have hope that the weather is starting to turn and I KNOW how quickly I seem to be crossing off the weeks on my calendar.
With all of this in mind, I just wanted to let you all know that we've finally figured out and prepared everything that we'll be doing for our beading summer camps this year. Just click on that fancy little link up there at the top of the screen that says "camps". Yep! That's the one. Right...there... Or, if you read all the info and fabulously informative FAQs and have some more question (which is entirely possible, because I'm sure that I forgot to mention something) just give me a call at 636-728-1515!
Looking forward to seeing you at our Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Bling camp and/or Beauty and the Beads camp!

Oh. My. Word! I have never seen so many beads. And so many findings. And so much sparkle. And so many beads. And did I mention TONS of beads?!?
Sorry for the redundancy above, but if you've never been to Tucson, or a trade show of similar magnitude, it's just impossible to describe the shopping that Lynn and I experienced today. As someone who will readily declare to anyone "I hate shopping!" I think I did amazingly well today. *pats self on back* I know it sounds silly tocomplain so much about shopping as it's an activity most women relish, I have to say that it's hard work. And beads are HEAVY!
We barely even started visiting the pethora of vendors that have set up shop in Tucson but I managed to spend about a third of my budget and got some AMAZING new pieces. Highlights include some new semi-precious and sterling silver pendants, some beautiful turquoise beads, all sorts of fun and summery semi-precious stones (including the ever popular dyed-turquoise peace sign beads), and some fantastic lampwork beads. All in all 30+ pounds of beads...in 7 hours. Which makes me wonder how much more we'll get tomorrow and Tuesday...and how I'm going to get them all home!
Going to finish watching the Saints win it and start counting my loot! More from Tucson later.

It's impossible to belileve that January's almost over, but that just means that I get to travel to warmer climates soon to buy new beads.
Next Saturday, Lynn and I are leaving for Tucson on our first ever buying trip. We're really excited! (Especially since they have a high in the 60s today and ours is only 19 with a chance of snow!?!) Longings for wamer weather aside, this trip is really about finding the most unique and most affordable new beads, findings and pendants. We've heard that shopping in Tucson (where there are something like 30 different bead shows happening at the same time) can be a truly overwhelming experience...but we're looking forward to it.
The only problem is...we don't have room in the store for the new beads, so we're giving you all the opportunity to help us make the room.
Come in January 29 or 30 with the coupon pictured below to receive 20% off of your entire purchase! Happy beading!
